The wind turbine (1) comprises a generator (17), an AC/DC converter (18) connected to the generator (17), and an electrolysis system (19) for producing hydrogen connected to a DC output of the AC/DC converter (18), the electrolysis system (19) being arranged in an upper tower portion of the wind turbine (1). A hydrogen delivery line (8) is connected to the electrolysis system (19) for delivering hydrogen produced by the electrolysis system (19) out of the electrolysis system (19), the hydrogen delivery line (8) extending at least partially between an upper tower portion of the wind turbine (1) and a lower portion of the tower (2) in an inner portion (7) of the tower (2).
