Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a mist catcher for a wet scrubber emission reduction system. The mist trap includes a demisting chamber having: a gas inlet for receiving a mist-containing exhaust gas from a wet scrubber emission reduction system; a liquid capture surface on which droplets may coalesce to form a liquid; and a gas outlet through which relatively dry gas can exit the chamber. The mist trap is configured such that at least a first portion of the trapped liquid exits the chamber via the gas inlet to return to the wet scrubber emission reduction system. The present application also relates to a catchment baffle, an emission reduction system, and a method of mitigating particle build-up in a main flow channel of an exhaust suction amplification device.
