The invention provides a display device. The display device includes a substrate including an active area and an inactive area adjacent to the active area; a first light blocking layer in the passive region on the substrate; a first thin film transistor in the passive region on the substrate, the first thin film transistor including a first active layer, a first gate electrode, a first source electrode, and a first drain electrode; and a first metal layer located between the first source electrode and the first light blocking layer in the passive region and between the first drain electrode and the first light blocking layer.
