The invention provides a method for separating and washing an aluminum-based lithium-containing material, which comprises the following steps of: adding an aluminum-based lithium precipitation agent into a sodium aluminate solution to separate out an aluminum-based lithium-containing material precipitate; carrying out first filter pressing on the aluminum-based lithium-containing material precipitate, and purging to obtain a first filter cake; through the purging process, materials attached to the filter cloth are rapidly stripped, loss of the aluminum-based lithium-containing materials is reduced, meanwhile, due to the purging effect, filtrate and impurities attached to the first filter cake are reduced, and water consumption is saved for follow-up cleaning.
