Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a material tracking method based on combination of machine vision and automation, and the method comprises the steps: (1) enabling a steel plate to pass through a fixed-length shear, enabling a photoelectric tube to judge whether the steel plate is passing through, and carrying out the subsequent marking operation if the steel plate is passing through; (2) respectively arranging a camera on the front surface and the side surface of the steel plate, and shooting the steel plate numbers on the front surface and the side surface; (3) the server receives the automatic steel plate data, namely automatically tracks the plate number, and operates an algorithm to identify the steel plate numbers on the front and side surfaces and judge whether the plate numbers are consistent or not; and (4) if the plate numbers are inconsistent, the system prompts personnel to check the steel plate number jet printing quality or check whether the automatic steel plate signal is correct, and if the automatic t
