Cloud height estimation method and system based on ground-based cloud picture data

The invention provides a cloud height estimation method and system based on ground-based cloud picture data. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring first ground-based cloud picture data acquired by a first meteorological monitoring device and second ground-based cloud picture data acquired by a second meteorological monitoring device closest to the first meteorological monitoring device at the same moment; based on a cloud cluster region judgment condition, judging whether a cloud cluster which is shot together exists in the first foundation cloud picture data and the second foundation cloud picture data or not; when the cloud clusters shot together exist, calculating the cloud height of the cloud clusters shot together by using a scene geometry method; when the cloud clusters shot together do not exist, cloud genus classification is carried out on the cloud clusters in the first foundation cloud picture data and the second foundation cloud picture data, the cloud genus types of the cloud cluster
