According to the on-load tap-changer vibration fault signal feature analysis method, clustering and dispersion analysis are carried out on mechanical characteristic vibration fault signal data by establishing a signal extraction model, a multi-threshold processing model, a distribution screening model and a fault type judgment model, and discrete data are obtained; processing the discrete data, and determining discrete point information of discrete data distribution; based on the discrete point information and the discrete point proportion, the fault type of the on-load tap-changer is analyzed, and accurate feature analysis of the vibration fault signal of the on-load tap-changer is achieved. Furthermore, various typical vibration fault signal characteristics of the on-load tap-changer can be analyzed, such as loosening of a movable
