The preparation method of the electrode material comprises the following steps: mixing nickel oxide powder, aluminum powder and an adhesive, and carrying out sintering treatment to obtain aluminum-nickel oxide sintered particles; and mixing the aluminum-nickel oxide sintered particles with a nickel salt complexing solution, and carrying out reduction reaction to obtain the electrode material. The prepared electrode material contains nickel oxide, can play a stabilizing role in the reverse current impact process, improves the reverse current resistance of the electrode, and prolongs the service life of the electrode.
