Zusammenfassung: | A system and method for establishing and using a quantum secure enclosure is described. In some embodiments, secure sharing randomness is distributed between nodes, e.g., using quantum key distribution. The secure sharing randomness is used to generate a quantum secure network key that enables establishment of a quantum secure network link between any of the nodes included in the quantum secure enclosure. A network manager executes a policy that restricts communications between nodes of the quantum secure enclosure to transmissions via quantum secure network links. Such arrangements protect communication data from quantum-enabled attacks that may endanger other forms of encryption.
