Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a friction assembly (1) for a brake, comprising: a brake head (3) having a lower surface (31) and an upper surface (32) and an auxiliary duct (38) connecting the two surfaces (31, 32); and a brake shoe (2) having a first surface (21) and a second surface (22) and a main duct (28) connecting the two surfaces (21, 22), the brake shoe (2) comprising a plate (60) having a base (61) forming a portion of the second surface (22) adapted to be fixed to the lower surface (31). The friction assembly comprises: a connecting ring (8) arranged in the auxiliary duct (38) and establishing a connection with the main duct (28); and a return mechanism (90) holding the connecting ring (8) in contact with the second surface (22) at a circumferential contact zone (ZC).
