The embodiment of the invention provides a control display method and device and electronic equipment. The method comprises the steps of determining at least one target secondary control corresponding to a target primary control based on a control binding relationship in response to an expansion triggering operation on the target primary control in a target container display area; wherein the control binding relationship is a corresponding binding relationship between the target first-level control and at least one second-level control associated with the target first-level control, the target first-level control corresponds to a target parent category, and the target second-level control corresponds to sub-data belonging to the target parent category; and displaying the at least one target secondary control at an associated position of the target primary control in the target container display area. According to the technical scheme, all the target second-level controls corresponding to the target first-leve
