The cable combustion decomposition multi-product gas detection device comprises a PC terminal, an infrared generation device, a measurement gas cell, a reference gas cell, a CO sensor, a CO2 sensor, a reference sensor and a signal processing circuit, the infrared generating device is used for emitting infrared light with a specific wave band; the infrared light can be absorbed by cable combustion gas; the measurement gas cell is used for bearing introduced cable combustion decomposition gas; the reference gas tank is used for bearing introduced ambient air; the signal processing circuit is used for preliminarily analyzing signals acquired by the CO sensor, the CO2 sensor and the reference sensor and feeding back the signals to the PC terminal; and the PC end reads and records data, analyzes the concentration conditions of cable pyrolysis gas CO and CO2, and outputs corresponding CO and CO2 c
