The preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) carrying out gene editing on diatom: selecting a gene related to adsorption of organic carbon small molecules and organic compounds in the diatom as a target gene, and carrying out gene knock-in, knockout, point mutation or insertion editing on the target gene by using a gene editing technology CRISPR-Cas9, designing a gRNA sequence to be compounded to a specific site of the target gene; (2) culturing the diatom subjected to gene editing; (3) preparing a diatomite-based composite material; step (4), modifying; and step (5), mixing.
