Camera with base with automatic alignment function

The camera integrates a magnet at one end of the housing to magnetically attract the camera and attach the camera to the front side of the peripheral display, such as to support video conferencing through an information handling system interfacing with the display. The camera position at the display base is biased into an upright orientation by opposite polarity magnets included in the camera and the base.
