Insulated wire

Provided is an insulated wire having excellent deformation resistance. An insulated wire is provided with: a conductor; and an insulating layer covering the conductor, the insulating layer containing a plurality of pores and a resin matrix having a polyimide as a main component, the porosity in the insulating layer being 25 vol% or more, the average thickness of the insulating layer being 45 [mu] m or more, and the average distance in the thickness direction between the plurality of pores in a cross section of the insulating layer being greater than 0.2 [mu] m.
