The invention provides a method and a device for predicting heat drying of sludge. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring heat drying configuration data of the sludge needing to be subjected to heat drying; the heat drying configuration data comprises sludge attribute data and heat drying attribute data; setting a sludge drying simulation environment by using the sludge heat drying model; and inputting the heat drying configuration data into a sludge heat drying model, so that the sludge heat drying model predicts the heat drying process of the sludge based on the sludge drying simulation environment and the heat drying configuration data, and a sludge heat drying prediction result is obtained. The sludge heat drying prediction result comprises the content of predicting the moisture content change, the temperature change and the flow field change of the sludge in the heat drying process.
