Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the field of substation construction auxiliary equipment, in particular to a vertical length measuring device which comprises a first adjusting seat, a second adjusting seat and a base. A U-shaped frame is mounted on the first adjusting seat, a mounting seat is arranged at the top end of the inner side of the U-shaped frame, a damping rotating shaft is fixed to the mounting seat, a mounting notch is formed in one end of the mounting seat, and an infrared laser range finder is mounted on the inner side of the mounting notch; a pointer is arranged at the outer end of the damping rotating shaft in the radial direction, and angle scales are arranged on the U-shaped frame.
