Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a related OfWRKY48 gene for promoting synthesis of an important aroma substance linalool and an oxide thereof in a natural extract of osmanthus fragrans and application of the OfWRKY48 gene, the OfWRKY48 gene is a WRKY transcription factor gene, an overexpression vector containing the gene OfWRKY48 is transformed to osmanthus fragrans petals for transient expression, and the result shows that the OfWRKY48 gene is a WRKY transcription factor gene, so that the OfWRKY48 gene can be used for promoting synthesis of linalool and an oxide thereof. The expression quantity of the OfWRKY48 gene in the instantly converted sweet osmanthus petals is remarkably increased, and the content of linalool and trans-linalool oxide in the petals is remarkably increased compared with that of a control group, so that the OfWRKY48 gene plays an important role in promoting synthesis of the linalool and the trans-linalool oxide of the sweet osmanthus; the method can be used for improving the fragrance quality of
