The preparation method comprises the following steps: performing spray pyrolysis on a first nickel-cobalt-manganese mixed salt solution, then replacing the first nickel-cobalt-manganese mixed salt solution with a second nickel-cobalt-manganese mixed salt solution, and continuing spray pyrolysis to obtain the low-sulfur ternary precursor, wherein the concentration of the first nickel-cobalt-manganese mixed salt solution is different from that of the second nickel-cobalt-manganese mixed salt solution.
