Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to the technical field of water heaters, and discloses a control method for a hot water system, which comprises the following steps: acquiring an operation mode of an air conditioner in the hot water system; and controlling the refrigerant flow direction of an outdoor unit of the air conditioner according to the operation mode of the air conditioner. According to the hot water system, the heat exchange water tank and the air conditioner are arranged, the condensation heat of the air conditioner is recycled through the heat exchange water tank, water in the heat exchange water tank is heated through the condensation heat of the air conditioner, and therefore hot water is provided for the hot water system.
