Zusammenfassung: | Systems and methods for generating sweeping and/or striking motions in an oral cleaning device, such as a powered toothbrush device, for optimal implementation at all target areas in a user's oral cavity. The system and method are configured to periodically move a driveline shaft in a first direction about a central axis of the device (or in a line tangential to a cleaning unit of the device), and to periodically drive the driveline shaft in a second direction different from the first direction, a set of cleaning elements attached to the cleaning unit is moved in a vertical up-and-down movement. The system and method are also configured to dynamically modify the output of the driveline assembly for different regions of the user's oral cavity.
