Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a permanent magnet motor driver fault prediction and protection method, which comprises the steps of measuring the edge temperature of a substrate of an IGBT (Insulated Gate Bipolar Translator) by using an NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) type temperature measurement sensor of the IGBT, predicting the temperature of an internal chip of the IGBT by using a temperature model according to the edge temperature of the IGBT, identifying potential faults and taking corresponding protection measures. The protection measures comprise an overtemperature gradient recognition and power self-adjustment buffering step and a motor stalling recognition and protection step based on the inter-phase temperature difference value and the slope. According to the invention, the technical problem of difficult fault prediction and protection caused by IGBT temperature failure, motor stalling and the like in the existing permanent magnet motor driver is solved.
