Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses application of an SlHZ05 gene in improvement of drought resistance of tomatoes, belongs to the field of plant genetic engineering and molecular breeding, and discloses application of the SlHZ05 gene in regulation and control of drought resistance of tomatoes, improvement of drought resistance of tomatoes or creation of drought-resistant varieties of tomatoes. The nucleotide sequence of the SlHZ05 gene is as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1. The invention finds that the SlHZ05 gene plays a positive regulation role in tomato drought resistance regulation, that is, overexpression of the SlHZ05 gene can improve the tomato drought resistance. Experimental results show that the survival rate of SlHZ05 overexpressed tomato plants under drought conditions is remarkably increased compared with that of wild tomato plants, and the drought resistance is remarkably enhanced. The invention proves that the SlHZ05 gene can be used as a target gene for improving the drought resistance of tomatoes, has a better ap
