Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses application of a tomato SlPUT3 gene in mediating absorption and transport of polyamine and regulating salt stress tolerance of tomatoes, and belongs to the technical field of plant genetic engineering. The tomato SlPUT3 gene is localized to the tomato SlPUT3 gene through a forward genetics means and a polyamine-based whole genome association analysis (mGWAS) method, and the SlPUT3 has the function of transporting and absorbing polyamine through construction of an overexpression and mutant plant of the SlPUT3 and through a polyamine sensitive experiment and an isotope labeling experiment. According to the present invention, the salt stress tolerance influence of the seedlings after the exogenous application of the low-concentration Spm is analyzed, and after the exogenous application of the Spm, the SlPUT3 overexpression plant shows the strong salt stress tolerance compared with the WT and the mutant plant, such that the function and the use of the gene are proved.
