Zusammenfassung:	Provided is an absorbent article which contains water-absorbent resin particles and activated carbon and has an excellent deodorizing effect. This absorbent article is provided with at least a liquid-permeable sheet, a liquid-impermeable sheet, and an absorbent body containing water-absorbent resin particles and activated carbon disposed between the liquid-permeable sheet and the liquid-impermeable sheet, and is characterized in that: the absorbent body contains water-absorbent resin particles; the water-absorbent resin particles have a heat generation rate of 0.10 DEG C/sec or more and 1.00 DEG C/sec or less as measured by the following heat generation rate measurement method. The heat generation rate measurement method comprises the following steps: putting 50g of 24.9 DEG C normal saline into a cylindrical heat-insulating container with the volume of 300mL, and stirring at 600rpm. In a state in which the physiological saline is stirred, 10 g of water-absorbent resin particles are further introduced into th
