The invention provides a coil assembly. The coil component includes: a body having first to sixth surfaces, the body having first and second recesses formed at the first and second surfaces, respectively; a coil embedded in the main body, the coil including a first lead-out portion and a second lead-out portion respectively having at least a portion extending to the first recess and the second recess; first and second external electrodes disposed on a sixth surface of the main body and extending to the first and second recesses, respectively, to be connected to the first and second lead-out portions; and a first insulating layer disposed on the first to fifth surfaces of the body and disposed on at least a portion of the outer surfaces of the first and second external electrodes.
