The thermal spray material contains composite particles in which a plurality of yttrium fluoride fine particles are integrated. The material for thermal spraying has a luminance L of 91 or less in a Lab color space. The brightness L is more preferably 5 or more. 本发明涉及喷镀用材料。本发明提供能形成抗等离子体腐蚀性得到提高的喷镀膜的喷镀用材料。该喷镀用材料包含使多个氟化钇微粒一体化而成的复合颗粒。该喷镀用材料在Lab色彩空间中的亮度L为91以下。该亮度L更优选为5以上。
