Zusammenfassung:A self-aligning coupling (100) for transmitting power between a driving shaft and a driven shaft that are misaligned and non-collinear is disclosed. The self-aligning coupling (100) has at least a first extreme position, an intermediate position and a third extreme position (5). The first coupling (104) is connected to the second coupling (112) by a tie rod (108). One end of the first coupling (104) includes a central bore (320) for receiving a drive shaft and another end of the first coupling (104) includes a first arcuate opening (324) for receiving a pull rod (108). One end of the second coupling has a central bore (326) including a drive shaft and the other end of the second coupling (10) (112) has a second arcuate opening (328).
