Cosmetic composition comprising high amounts of retinol

The present disclosure relates to stable cosmetic compositions containing high amounts of retinol. The cosmetic composition especially further comprises a plurality of nonionic emulsifiers, a fatty alcohol, a fatty compound, a thickening polymer and water. Methods of stabilizing large amounts of retinol and methods of treating skin with the cosmetic compositions are also described. Methods of stabilizing cosmetic compositions containing high amounts of retinol and methods of preserving high amounts of retinol are also described.
