The self-forming packaging material provided by the invention is prepared from the following raw materials in percentage by mass: 60 to 80 percent of inorganic hydrated salt, 5 to 15 percent of deionized water, 5 to 10 percent of acrylic monomer, 0.3 to 5 percent of cross-linking agent, 0.7 to 5 percent of polysaccharide monomer, 2 to 10 percent of moisturizing material and 1 to 5 percent of initiating material.
