Zusammenfassung:The invention relates to an aqueous ink, an ink cartridge, and an ink jet recording method. Provided is an aqueous ink for inkjet which is capable of recording an image having excellent wear resistance and color rendering properties. The aqueous ink for inkjet includes: a pigment; wax; a phosphate ester-based surfactant; and an amine compound. The pigment is dispersed by the action of at least one selected from the group consisting of a carboxylic acid group and a sulfonic acid group. And the phosphate ester surfactant contains a fatty alcohol alkoxylation site.
