The invention discloses a qualitative method for textile fiber components based on a mass spectrometry technology. The qualitative method comprises the following steps: (1) pre-treating and detecting a sample; (2) data processing; (3) calculating the percentage of the highest response intensity of each characteristic ion in the total ion intensity; (4) calculating the response strength percentages of the characteristic ions of all the standard samples to obtain the strength percentage range of each characteristic ion of different fiber components; and (5) judging: comparing the data of the sample to be detected with the result of the step (4), checking whether all characteristic ions accord with the standard sample characteristic ion response strength percentage range of the nominal component, and if all the characteristic ions accord with the standard sample characteristic ion response strength percentage range of the nominal component, judging that the fiber is the nominal fiber component.
