In the energy storage stage, the carbon dioxide working medium can be stored by using electric energy in the electricity consumption trough period, so that the carbon dioxide working medium is stored in the liquid storage tank in a high-pressure liquid form, and the compression heat is stored in the heat storage system. Carbon dioxide serving as an energy storage medium can be liquefied and stored under low pressure, the power needed by the compressor is small, and meanwhile the high-pressure gas storage cost of the compressed gas energy storage system is remarkably reduced.
