The preparation method of the welding wire comprises the following steps: preparing materials, smelting, and carrying out horizontal continuous casting to obtain an alloy bar; the alloy bar is sequentially subjected to rotary swaging, multi-pass rolling, multi-pass drawing and scraping machining, and the alloy bar is obtained, and specific temperature limitation exists in rotary swaging, rolling and drawing. According to the method, microalloy element modification, temperature rotary swaging, temperature rolling and temperature drawing are combined, so that the casting defects of the aluminum-tin alloy are eliminated, and alloy solidification structure grains are refined; when the p
