Queue data collection using unified model to collect data from wide variety of vehicles

A system including one or more computing devices implements a vehicle information extraction service. The vehicle information extraction service enables a customer to maintain a model of a vehicle queue and collect vehicle information from a variety of vehicles included in the queue, wherein the vehicles are configured with different on-board communication configurations.
