Zusammenfassung:The present disclosure provides devices, methods, and systems for performing a non-invasive prenatal test (NTPT) digital assay when producing at least a large number of counts/chromosomes for a set of chromosomes present in a sample, wherein performing the NIPT digital assay may include: distributing nucleic acids of the sample and material for an amplification reaction over a plurality of partitions; amplifying the nucleic acid with the material within the plurality of partitions; and upon detection of signals from the plurality of partitions, generating a count/chromosome.
