According to the method, trichloromethane (the reaction formula is Cl3CCH (OH) 2 + OH-> CHCl3 + HCOO-+ H2O) is generated through the reaction of trichloroacetaldehyde hydrate and alkali metal hydroxide, and the trichloromethane concentration and the trichloroacetaldehyde concentration in a sample can be simultaneously calculated through a trichloroacetaldehyde standard curve according to the reaction relation between trichloroacetaldehyde and trichloromethane. The concentration of trichloromethane and the concentration of trichloracetic aldehyde in the sample can be simultaneously measured through a trichloromethane standard curve, on the basis of only adopting one trichloromethane standard curve or a trichloracetic aldehyde standard curve, both trichloromethane and trichloracetic aldehyde can be detected, two standard curves do not need to be respectively
