Device for removing broken paper in pulp dryer and pulp dryer

The invention relates to a device for removing broken paper in a pulp dryer and to a pulp dryer. The pulp dryer includes a cover defined by side walls and end walls. A diverting roller fits within the hood in conjunction with an end wall of the hood to direct a pulp web to be dried through the pulp dryer. The service platform is adapted to be combined with the pulp dryer for access to the turning roller. The device comprises a pressing element for pressing the pulp web against the turning roller, an operating mechanism for the pressing element, an actuator device located outside the cover adapted to drive the operating mechanism in order to press the pressing element against the turning roller, and a support unit for engaging the operating mechanism to a support frame structure of the pulp dryer. The device is adapted to be connected to a deflection roller. The actuator device is adapted to the side of the side wall of the pulp dryer and comprises an actuator adapted to press the pressing element against the
