The lubrication system has a lubricant reservoir and a diaphragm pump. Lubricant can be conveyed from the lubricant container to the movable element by means of the diaphragm pump. The diaphragm pump has an inlet, an outlet, and a pump chamber. The inlet is connected to a lubricant reservoir. The outlet allows the lubricant to be conveyed in the direction of the movable element. The volume of the pump chamber may be increased and decreased by the diaphragm.
