Zusammenfassung:A method for foaming a web is disclosed. The foamed fiber suspension is fed into a mixing chamber and then directed through a constriction in which the speed of the foamed fiber suspension is increased. From the narrow constriction, the foamed fiber suspension enters the forming chamber, which causes the velocity of the foamed fiber suspension to be rapidly reduced. For example, in one embodiment, the foamed fiber suspension undergoes a hydraulic jump, resulting in significant fiber reorientation. By means of the method, fiber orientation can be controlled.
