Zusammenfassung:The invention provides an optical laminate and an image display device using the same. [Problem] To provide an optical laminate in which frame-shaped display defects are suppressed. [Solution] An optical laminate according to an embodiment of the present invention has a front panel, an adhesive layer, a polarizing plate, and a phase difference layer in this order. The polarizing plate includes a polarizer and a protective layer disposed on the adhesive layer side of the polarizer. The pressure-sensitive adhesive layer is configured from a photocurable pressure-sensitive adhesive containing a compound having an absorption maximum wavelength of 200-300 nm.
