Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses an application and a method for knocking out a PtoTCP23 gene of populus tomentosa in improving lodging resistance of a plant, and a PtoTCP23 knockout transgenic plant is obtained by introducing a PtoTCP23 knockout plant vector into the populus tomentosa; the height of the PtoTCP23 knockout plant is reduced, the stem is thickened, the number of stem xylem cell layers is remarkably increased, the xylem proportion is also remarkably increased, and the lignin content is remarkably increased; the result shows that after the PtoTCP23 is deleted, the lodging resistance of the poplar is improved, and the method has important value for development and utilization of the poplar. 本发明公开了敲除毛白杨PtoTCP23基因在提高植物抗倒伏中的应用和方法,通过将PtoTCP23敲除植物载体导入毛白杨中,获得了PtoTCP23敲除转基因植株;PtoTCP23敲除植株高度变矮,茎秆变粗,茎木质部细胞层数显著增加,木质部占比也显著增加,木质素含量显著提高;该结果说明缺失PtoTCP23后杨树抗倒伏能力得到了提高,对杨树的开发利用具有重要价值。
