The invention discloses a regional geological disaster susceptibility evaluation method based on information entropy-variable dimension fractal. The method comprises the steps of 1, obtaining a historical geological disaster sample data set of a target region; step 2, constructing a geological disaster susceptibility evaluation index system of the target area; 3, obtaining an optimal grading number corresponding to each influence factor; 4, calculating the fractal dimension of each influence factor by adopting a variable-dimension fractal calculation method; and 5, normalizing the fractal dimensions of the influence factors to obtain weights of the influence factors, and superposing the weights to obtain a geological disaster susceptibility evaluation result of the target area.
