The invention provides a method, a device and a computer readable medium for universal semantic retrieval based on unified object indexes and representations. A query and a set of candidate objects may be obtained. An identifier to be retrieved may be generated based on the query, the identifier to be retrieved including an object identifier or a cluster identifier. A to-be-retrieved vector representation may be generated based on the to-be-retrieved identifier.
