Breast cover assembly, adjusting device and method

The invention relates to a brassiere assembly, an adjustment device and a method. A brassiere assembly (112) is provided for use in a breast operation process, such as a milk extrusion and/or breast massage process. The brassiere assembly comprises a cavity for receiving at least a portion of the breast, the cavity being at least partially defined by a surface (100) that faces the breast when at least a portion of the breast is received in the cavity. The surface is arranged such that relative movement of the surface with the breast during a breast manipulation process causes the breast to be contactable by at least one position (111A, 111B) of the surface. The adjustment device (110) enables one or more of the at least one position to be changed such that different discrete regions of the breast can be contacted by the surface. Also provided are adjusting devices themselves, breast pump assemblies including the breast cover assemblies and breast pumps for moving surfaces during breast manipulation procedures
