The embodiment of the invention provides a volume adjustment method, electronic equipment and a computer readable storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: determining a focus application in response to a volume adjustment operation input by a user; determining the original volume of the output audio of the focus application according to the audio stream type of the output audio of the focus application and audio output equipment; according to the volume adjustment operation, determining the relative adjustment volume of the output audio of the focus application; determining a target volume according to the original volume and the relative adjustment volume; and adjusting the volume of the output audio of the focus application to the target volume. When the electronic equipment outputs a plurality of audio streams of the same audio stream type at the same time and receives the volume adjustment operation of the user, the target volume of the focus application can be jointly determined according to t
