The invention relates to an immersive electric power engineering collaborative design method, which comprises the following steps of performing BIM modeling on electric power engineering, and performing preprocessing on an electric power engineering BIM model; importing the preprocessed electric power engineering BIM model into a virtual reality simulation scene; creating a collaboration session, and adding all users into the collaboration session through virtual display equipment to design the electric power engineering BIM model in the virtual reality simulation scene; after the design of the electric power engineering BIM model is completed, a user browses and verifies the designed electric power engineering BIM model in a virtual reality simulation scene through virtual reality equipment; and after the verification of the electric power engineering BIM model is completed, exporting various engineering data in the electric power engineering BIM model and applying the engineering data to actual construction
