The method comprises the following steps: firstly, acquiring image data of a workpiece to be analyzed at different shooting angles, image data of different types of reference workpieces and quintuple position coordinates of the different types of reference workpieces as input data; then, computer vision and image processing technologies are used for carrying out feature extraction and analysis on the input data to generate target positions of workpieces to be analyzed, and then the industrial robot carries out precise sorting operation on the workpieces to be analyzed based on the target positions. In this way, intelligent sorting of the workpieces is facilitated.
