Zusammenfassung: | An embodiment of the present invention provides a positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery. The positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery includes a plurality of composite particles including lithium metal phosphorus oxide particles and a carbon coating layer formed on at least a portion of a surface of the lithium metal phosphorus oxide particles, the standard deviation of the thickness value of the carbon coating layer measured by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS) for each of five different composite particles among the plurality of composite particles is 15 nm or less. By uniformly forming the carbon coating layer, the conductivity of the positive electrode active material can be improved, and the power characteristics of the lithium secondary battery can be improved.
