The method comprises the following steps of: acquiring user historical hourly load data to prepare for distribution and storage optimization work; calculating the maximum value and the minimum value of the power of the month by taking the month as a unit; obtaining a demand adjustment range; determining the capacity and demand electric charge of the user after energy storage; determining at least a required capacity of the battery; obtaining the required configuration capacity of the battery; establishing a user side energy storage optimization configuration model by taking the maximum net present value as a target; and solving the user side energy storage optimal configuration model based on a genetic algorithm, and determining energy storage optimal capacity configuration.
